What plant is this?

This plant is common where I live and i've always wondered what it is and whether it is safe for a dart frog vivarium. Any ideas are appreciated.

I have an eggcrate false bottom. On top of that I have a 3x3 tupperware container with joshs frogs false bottom in it which keeps water from going into the soil.

Thanks! I also added a bit of pilea "baby tears". Hopefully it makes it because I usually don't have much luck with that plant. It usually turns brown or black and dies off.

Drainage for waterfall idea

Recently i have decided to make a vivarium with a waterfall (not for darts). I wanted to know what you guys thought of my idea. I was going to drill a 1" hole in the bottom of the tank and do the egg crate bottom. I would then have a bucket under the hole with the pump in it. The tubing from th...

Re: Sick and weak Azureus

So say I ordered one from joshs frogs which come at about 2-3 months. Raise him for a month or two in a container until he gains some size then add him in? Also during that time I could observe the other frog and make sure everythings fine. Im planning on ordering 2 powder blues for an 18x18x24 exo ...

Re: Sick and weak Azureus

Thanks for the help but unfortunately he didn't make it. The other frog is in great shape though. So I was wondering, could I introduce a juvenile azureus to the tank with him? Im not sure if he would be territorial or not. He is about 1 year old.

Mold/ moss growing in vivarium

So for the past month, I have noticed a copper/ brown colored mold/ moss growing in my tank. It is on my grapewood and in the soil a little bit. The frogs dont seem to mind it. The one actually sleeps on it. But do you guys have any idea what this is? Thanks https://plus.google.com/10778591821815997...
