I have used Dr Frye for years to test only recently have been using my local vet who will send the fecals to the lab with an understanding that he will not prescribe drugs or treat...

Re: 100% Organic Backgrounds - future of hobby ?

I have built GS, cork, epi-web and clay backgrounds, GS will or has for me failed i.e. separate from the glass over time, the cork backgrounds look great, take a long time to build and are pricey. The clay backgrounds are quick and easy but the 4 out of 6 I have built have failed over 3-4 years. When ...

Re: froglets vs juveniles - price difference?

I would say 5 to 6 months old for pumilio, from what I have seen in the darts for sale besides pumilio it's 3 to 4 months oow. IMO the older the better.

Re: Historic Oophaga lineages?

I am wondering if crickets were the norm in feeding these frogs in the 90's, then I would think the crickets were gut loaded. Re: Colubre pumilio for sale

Wow Mark, that is eye-opening. That will make me think twice when I assume a Paypal payment is reliable. I guess it should be a lesson to all of us, all details in the transaction must be valid or the buyer can cancel the payment. That's absurd! Sorry you got screwed over by a guy who has proven hi...

I bake mine at 250 degrees in large aluminium turkey size pans that I triple stack, when I smell the leaves I turn off the oven and remove them when cool. Have not had any issues with roaches etc.

Many things are accomplished: knowing who is in the area, hey ffys crash and others will help locally, plus answering questions seeing frog rooms etc. All questions are answe...
