Re: Pumilio for sale

I'm really surprised anyone would want to post any classifieds here with the response the one is getting. This is not about getting out the "truth" as I'm sure any buyer who got these frogs would be told everything they would ever want to know about them, in fact, I am 100% positive about...

Re: Pumilio for sale

Perhaps we should wait for him to elaborate before we go waving the red flag and train wrecking his thread.

Re: Low profile fan idea.

Interesting. The plants are really secondary to me, and ultimately there to make the frogs feel more at home, so I suppose it comes down to plant choice. When it comes to building vivs I try my hardest to think of the frogs, rather than wow factor, so my intention was to provide an optimum environme...

Re: Low profile fan idea.

With the small box built around the back of the fan(as above), the fan would be drawing air from the same direction of the output. It would be drawing the humid air from in the tank and pushing it right back out into the tank. If the fan was outside of the tank, say sitting on top of an existing ven...

Low profile fan idea.

So I've been looking to incorporate fans in all of my vivs, but I'd like to make them as invisible as possible. Keeping the fan parallel with the top was sort of what I was looking to do. So naturally I loaded up my favorite design software.. MS Paint :D What I am going to attempt to build: https://...

Re: A few of my frogs - pics

I really think they are under appreciated. They are an amazingly beautiful frog, and are awesome in groups. The more the merrier :D. I seem to have an over abundance of females at the moment, and am thinking I may need to even out the flock a little. If anyone has a calling male INIBICO variabilis.....

Re: Mites on flies

...so I started using extra supplements to dust my seed flies and mechanically sift them with two kitchen strainers of difference screen sizes. The theory I had read on the forums was the dusting dislodges the flies. The sifting should separate them, though finding a strainer with a screen size tha...

Mites on fruit flies - Pics, Video

A few days back, I was having a discussion with several other frog nerds about mites in fly cultures. Everyone seemed to have a differing opinion on how they get into the cultures. One thought that the mites are pretty much ever present in the cultures due to the materials used. Another thought that...

Hello from Oregon

I'll give you the generic "I've been lurking around for a while" beginning(because it's true), and figured that it was time to post. I've dabbled a little on "other" dart frog forums, but have found this one to be concise and mature with less cruft. I have been in the hobby for a...
