Re: Re: Poll - Is Keeping Frogs considered 'Manly" ?

I'm a girl and love to raise frogs and do my own cultures. So I don't think they are to manly. I'm am also girly in some areas like dresses and such but not scared of bugs or frogs, lol. I think that this "Girl" just owned all of us... Frogs have now been declared Girlie. I seco...

Re: Poll - What Type of lights do you use?

Two of my tanks have LEDs and my third tank has T5s. All seem to look equally bright. I'm still waiting to see how the T5s color up my plants since that whole set up is fairly new.

Re: Cell phone text spam and phising on the rise ?

I've never had that problem. I'm kind of surprised to hear that spam is coming in through text messages. ??

I shouldn't be surprised, should I? (-.-)

Re: Poll - Make your own FF media or buy pre-made ?

I can't vote off tapatalk! D: I was doing my own mix at first, but the Neherp stuff was producing more flies for a longer period of time, so I've stuck to that. I'll be trying a mix of both that and my homemade stuff and see what the results are. I'm trying not to become too dependent on the pre-mad...

Re: Re: 'Sky Blue" Azureus - Dendrobates tinctorious

I just can't help but wonder if Sean had gone about this project another way....another way, instead of '12 years'. As you can see from the first post on this thread, ole' Jack W. reports seeing the 'no spotted' animals in situ way back when. What would be another way? Is there another way? :?: If ...

Re: 'Sky Blue" Azureus - Dendrobates tinctorious

I'm not a big fan. Especially since these were what brought me into the hobby to begin with. I loved the way they already looked naturally in the wild. I don't know about others, but I LOVE the wild type, regardless of what kind of animal it is. Why? Because I get to enjoy a natural piece of nature ...

Re: 'Hard' vs 'Soft' Selective Breeding in the Dart Frog Hob

Makes logical sense to me; The way you have defined these terms, that is. I don't mind not being picky over color or pattern variations in a specific morph or local of dart frog that I'm choosing to obtain. However, according to the definitions, I could still be accused of 'Soft' selective breeding ...
