Re: Pay it forward: advice on setting up a breeding program

A cell phone "frogroom" app is overdue. Someone please make one. Create individual files for each new frog, make a few identifying photos and notes, and "save" it in "tank #4" along with it's mate, which would have it's own file. The app could record feedings and suppl...

Re: Blue Foot Leucs anywhere ?

I'm trying to get a handle on approximate numbers of hobbyists keeping these - both E.U imports. Does anyone think that one import or the other has 'better' blue feet ? I'm not a big fan of trying to use Springtails in leu of small fruit flies anytime other than for tiny pumilio froglets. I still t...

Re: Pay it forward: advice on setting up a breeding program

btw, it's thread like this that give resulting credibility to both you and Rich for record keeping and shepherding the various lines. There's no doubt in my mind that efforts like yours would result in you being in the top 10%, heck prolly top 5% of frog hobbyists. So - no wasted effort. There IS s...

But I have no idea what a Narino sylvatica looks like. Anyone got a picture?

I just need to know if it's worth pissing my wife off or not.

Re: Blue Foot Leucs anywhere ?

I do, They are from the original import (Sean Stewart). from the information I have there aren't many from that shipment left. John P has had great success with breeding his European imports. I on the other hand have not. They seem to do great but just stall at 4 months and then wither away. After t...

Re: How Much Leaf Litter?

Speaking of leaf litter.... What is everyone using? I was looking into getting leaves from something that was a tad more native to the frogs environment. (if it was available) Just another one of my many theories... but maybe the micro fauna are pulling some trace element off the native leaf litter....
