Stu, thanks so much for your nice message. Are aurotaenia available on your side of the pond? I know there are a few differences between what's available here and there.

Hiya Jon,in all honesty I've not seen any available,or in the flesh that I can remember. But they are probably in europe.Like all these things it's trying to get frogs that are from the right origins that is of concern.

As a point of interest i've included a link of frogs and prices from our specialist amphibian shop, these frogs will be brought in from europe as it is almost time for the big herp trade show Hamm, which you may well be aware of.Jon for some of us here we yearn for a chance to deal direct with UE,but costs and logistics make it very difficult,be aware of how jealous we are of you guys on this front. I know there are some frogs here, that we can keep that you guys can't my mysties being a case in point, but damn I've love the chance to by direct from Mr Pepper, for the obvious reasons. Anyway, here's that link,I hope you don't mind me popping it here, I hope it doesn't take your thread off topic ,by all means, get Phil to delete this paragraph if necessary and I'll create a new thread for you guys.just thought it would be of interest, tis all

I'm really looking forward to the next few days. We just tore down 3 vivs to redo. 2, 18x18x24 exo's and a 24x24x18 Exo. We got rid of that nasty clay background, all vivs have been cleaned and bleached to sanitize them. So now is the fun time of 3 new build. My fiancé the Mermaid is gonna try her hand with her very first build. I'll be sure and post some pics as we progress with retooling these vivs for new acquisitions. .

Here's some new photos. Our first P. bicolors are starting to come out of the water, very cool and exciting to watch that happen.
And some vivs that we've just recently completed.

Looking good Jon. Give that prayer plant some room, those guys can really take up some real-estate when they get going. Also with those begonia, don't keep them drenched. I have found they do much better when given some time to dry out a bit.

I am too so no worries, but I have been successful with the last two that I got. Both are mounted just like yours, albeit a little higher in the tank but I don't think that has anything to do with it surviving. I will honestly let it dry until I see it start to slump over, then I mist it and it stands back up. Just repeating that cycle has seemed to work for about eight months now.

Well I've got some work ahead of me. I've acquired 9 more tanks/vivs that need to be broken down, sterilized, and rebuilt. It should take me some time to do this and I'm in no hurry really. Adding those to the 3 I just finished a couple of months ago, that will make a total of 12 empty vivs that I'm gonna need to fill with frogs. 30 vivs isn't too many right?
Oh....then I'm gonna have to get another bakers rack and plastic bins for froglet growout....damn, what a good problem to have!!!

Hey Jon I don't think that's too many but your also talking to a fellow addict. You definitely do not want me as a sponsor lol. It will be awesome to see your collection grow especially since I can come and visit. Give me a shout if there is anything I can help with just as long as we don't have to move them again

Dustin, let me know if you need to rent some tank space lol
I don't even want to think about moving again. If I do I'll make sure to add some more clay background to make them even heavier this time.

Fabulous Jon,just fabulous. Too many cool frogs and not enough space here,so we are in consolidation mode  Stop and focus and enjoy and try to make a decision as to what the hell next. In all seriousness I do like this slow way of meandering through things, suits me well. Nonetheless it is fabulous and very inspiring seeing you crack on with things

You are building a fantastic collection bro tis always a joy visiting this thread thanks for sharing. Hugely inspiring !!
