Sorry you have to put up with Jon...we kicked him out of the Midwest ;)

Thanks Brian...and I helped Jon unload and set up the new room, so I suppose I am stuck with him for a while and will just have to deal

Thank you Glenn, I am really super excited about these guys, possibly more so than any other frog I have had to date. They were super shy for the first 4 or 5 months and now finally starting to come out more and more with me in their faces. I think that they are my favorite, although I am really liking the Escudo as well. I still can't get over how little the male is and how loud his call is. I am sure I will be just as excited when they start to breed.

A vanzo belly shot I took today.

I had a whole herd of shrooms emerge today. There is probably 100 of them in all. Very interesting little fungi.

Just wanted to share some pictures.

My poor little piece of Begonia bipinnatifida that keeps getting trampled by the powder blues. I am hoping it will grow into a nice specimen.
Image

One of the culprits who are attempting to mush the Begonia back into the substrate.
Image

Even though this one is blurry, I thought this one was kinda goofy looking with him all hiked up and wanted to share.
Image

Here is one of the Siquirres, this is really about as much as I see them. They are so spooky it makes me sad.
Image

A couple of green and white froglets.

Nice pics! My Tincs trample most of the terrestrial plants. Mini bulldozers they are!

I managed to melt two B bipinnatifida within about 2 weeks. :( I hope you have success with them - keep us posted. I may give them another go some day - just can't resist throwing my money away on plants...

Nice powder blues!

I hear you there Jim! I don't even want to know how much I have spent on plants, I will buy them with nowhere to even place them...

I received 3 cuttings about a month ago and had them all in straight sphagnum substrate that was damp also in a mostly sealed enclosure with humidity at 95%+. I started with them just lying there on top and they were starting to melt and shrivel up so I contacted the gentleman who I purchased them from and he said to be sure the stem was buried under the substrate. Once I did that they started to look really good and stiffened up quite a bit. I just moved two of them into pots with soil and placed them into these new little greenhouse deals I picked up from NE Herp. I hope they continue to do well for me that I have uprooted and planted them again.

These are really cool, and gives me a place I can put plants now and keep high humidity and plenty of light. Sorry for the dark time, cell phone picture but it's all I have.

Very cool! I had never explored that section of NE Herp's site before...thanks for sharing. I'll have to give that some thought for rooting in cuttings...

I think they were having a conversation until I interrupted them.

Waaay to the back of the viv. I need a larger lens so I can get closer. Tiny frogs are hard to take pictures of.

I added some LED's to the froglet bins. I think it looks pretty cool.

And tonight I was able to snap a pic of my male Nikita transporting a tad. This is the third one in 2 days. I still don't know where they hid this clutch.

A few pictures from the frog room...

My second vanzo out of the water...well, almost...this one is quite reluctant to leave the film canister. Has a really cool stripe down its back.
