Finally caught my Retic calling on camera!!

The thing is that the probable female was the one calling in the video haha! I would have made a strong bet that it was the other way around based on this frog being overall larger than the other. To people who keep Retics, are they sexable based on size much like other thumbs? I've seen no aggression, but may have to keep my eyes out for a female down the road! Here is the video. Not the greatest quality, but I've only seen a handful of these calls filmed :)

Wow, it has been WAY too long since I updated this! I'll have to post up more photos. No big news in the frog room for the past 6 months (which is sometimes good). Getting lots of breeding from my Fantastica, re-did my fine spotted Leucomela vivarium, and still on the search for a female Reticulata. Ever and onward! Here are a few photos from the past few months!

Just back from a vacation down to Clearwater, FL for a week! Fantastic trip and I was the best man in my brothers destination wedding. I decided I was only a hour away from Sarasota, FL where Tropiflora is...so I took a drive down with another Indiana friend who was also down in Florida at the time. They have an fantastic growing facility and some amazing plants! Just a few photos below. I got a few interesting broms and figured I'd try my had at a few more tillandsia.

Few more random shots of a interesting Green Sirensis tadpole, some fresh ootw fantastica froglets, and one of my Terribilis peeking out of a cork tube!

Nice fantastica Mr. B! I heard about your trip from your "Indiana friend". Sounds like it was worth the time! Sounds like the air plants were amazing.

Ha Thanks! I don't think Chris has an account here...so went with "Indiana Friend" :) It was totally worth it. I was not sure when I'd make it down again and always wanted to check it out.

The facility and number of broms/air plants is insane. I had no idea Tropiflora had so many air plants. I could have spend so much more money than I did, but didn't want to blow the entire vacation budget!!
