Drain fly, Moth fly, Sink fly, etc.
Dang, more damaging viv invaders. Looks like another viv "friendly" species that can do harm to frog eggs and tadpoles. Let's hope I can find a way to eliminate these little buggers! They breed in small stagnant bodies of water (a.k.a. obligate deposit sites) and the larvae eat anything fleshy.
They are reportedly attracted to ultraviolet light, so a trap of sorts will be in the works. For now, daily rounds of fly "whack-a-mole" shall keep me busy.

Wow. Fungus gnats , I'm familiar with, but this little guy...

No Idea Chris, other than drain the ponds and tiny pools ect. What above false bottom water?
