This guy was hanging out by the trash at our community pool. Apparently the trash cans attract roaches and make for a prime hunting ground :). Gulp gulp gone...I could not believe he got that thing down:

You are so fortunate to have all those 'greens' as opposed to the 'browns'. Somehow the green anole is 'cooler' huh?

I love how the big males get that black spot behind the eye when they are fighting, mating or in this case, lunching on a big 'curacha.

Yeah luckily I have never seen a brown around here. This is a fun time of year with the green males displaying everywhere and the first hatchling Texas spiny lizards and whiptails are emerging.
