The coarse is the way to go, The finer is really messy to deal with as it has alot of broken pieces and it gets everywhere when trying to pull a wad of it off the bale.. I order the 50 lb bale, it is worth it. Shipping isnt too bad,Less than $30

Good to know. I used to buy the coarse from Ed's and loved it, but have been getting the fine locally and don't know why I keep buying it. I am getting sick dealing with the small pieces from the fine.
