Your luck rubbed off on me... working on the vivs, power goes out. After 20 minutes and it hasn't come back on, time to spring into action ... call the home depot 20 miles away to see if they have a generator for rent, yip they do. I get there and stand in line for 10 minutes, sorry someone just rented the last one 15 minutes before i got there....$#@#$$!! Call another home depot 20 miles away in the other direction, yes they had one and yes they will hold it for me...
Get there and got the generator rented, time to buy a window ac. They are out... Lowe's is out...time to try Walmart, got the ac in the cart, wife calls, power is back on... unloaded the ac then back to home depot ...
3+ hours of stress and driving, 40.00 for a 30 minute generator rental ... definitely time for some whiskey ...

I swear it must be in the air or something... At least my power has stayed on (knocking furiously on wood)...
Those are looking great, Casper!

I'm just glad it came back on...
Thanks with the vivs, building the door frame(s) is definitely time consuming, silicone then let sit, repeat , repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat ....

You two are a regular comedy team of Lewis and Martin, except that you're Lewis and...Lewis.

Thank you!
20 pieces of edging trim, including the vents. Time consuming, but worth it. Imo

Fly proof vents. Don't mind the extra silicone, still have final cleanup to do.

Well I guess I'll ask what we're all wondering.....Casper, how many bottles of JD did it take to complete this project?

Can't drink and build vivs... i sweated enough in a 115° Texas garage. I would've been drunk after 1 drink in this heat ..
Add picking up 4'x7' sheets of glass by myself, cutting a 48"x22" piece while using my gut to save it from falling when i make the break. All while wearing just shorts and sandals...
