I am constructing a 75g viv for some poison dart frogs and I want to add a fogger. I have found a couple different types and don't know what to look for in a fogger. Any suggestions or good products any of you can recommend ?
There has been talk that cheaper "in-tank" disc foggers can cook or shock your frogs if they get too close----this is true. I am putting mine in a plastic bottle---like 16 oz coke bottle size, covering the top w/screen so the frogs can't jump in and punching holes in the side for the fog to 'escape'. Seems to be a good setup---I would never leave the fogger where the frogs can touch it if it heats the water you use.

yes...
"Inside the tank" fogger = BAD
Outside the tank fogger = Good

Is it one of those "circular, disc, bubbler" types ? If so....then no.....they are not suitable / safe for our hobby purposes.
