I get a lot....a.....lot, since I took over here.
I'm ok with any and all PM's that come my way - NEVER a problem, so don't ever be afraid to send.
But...
I tend to "answer" most all PM's by starting a new thread about the issue / question or bumping an existing thread. I really believe that all information should be laid out there for everyone to benefit from. If I'm going to take 10 mins and 2 paragraphs to respond (and that's fine), I'd like for it to be out there for others benefit as well. Not trying to be dismissive or a snob, but please try to tack your questions onto an existing thread or start a new thread with all your questions.
The reason is that many other people can benefit from reading the thread and the posts that would they would not otherwise never see in a private message / PM.
So if you are seeing bumped Threads/ topics or some of the older stuff, please bear with me. Please unsubscribe or just "click thru" these threads if they bother you.
Obviously, there are PM's of a private nature and those being the exception.....but I'm hoping you're smelling' what I'm selling' here.

I hope this doesn't seem like an off the wall question but I'd really like to know the name of this plant.
On that Swiss website with all the Tinctorius morphs there is a plant that I'd like ID'd.
http://www.tinctorius.ch/index.php?id=15
If you go down to the morph called Trois Piton and scroll down to the two jungle pictures you'll see skinny trees and branches with leaves on them. They look like they'd be some type of tropical magnolia plant. I've seen this plant before over the years in other non-dart frog pictures so it must be somewhat common down in that area. As best as I can tell from the wording I see what looks like the words Western and French Guyana. I've already spent an hour looking through lists of South American Plants and trees and still haven't found anything similar to this.

Hello all. My name is John and I live in Central NY. I've gotten tired of looking out the windows at LOTS of snow and no green so I decided to bring some green into the house. I'm in the process of converting a 60 gal. saltwater tank. I've put in the false bottom and 3 inches of NEHerp substrate. The background is large pieces of cork bark and foam covered with coconut fiber. I just planted it with the 55 gal. plant set from Josh's frogs. This forum has been a great help. We haven't decided on the frogs yet, but we're not in any hurry either. Looking forward to my continuing education in our hobby.

Hey guys,
I picked up two juvenile patricias yesterday at the Long Island Reptile Expo. I am calling all owners of juvenile Patricias in hopes of starting a little community so that if we all don't end up with breeding pairs, then perhaps we can trade. So for instance if I end up with two males and someone else has two females, then we can trade a male for a female!
So, who's got some patrician??
-Joshua
